I'm currently working on that, I contacted developers of interested
projects and just set up the mpris at videolan dot org mailing list in
order to start a real common work. We will also probably use the
freedesktop wiki.

These draft are just stubs and they are meant to be regrouped and
improved as they are just work in progress.
