something that occured to me last night whilst striving for sleep: the website 
could provide a convenient agregated set of views pulled from the repository.

e.g. a page showing all -FDO specs; while they would be housed separately in 
the repository, the website would be the perfect place to agregate such sets 
for easy perusal.
