While I totally agree with you, I've learn that talking in the FOSS
world is (too) often a lost of time. Doing is much more efficient. :-)

So in the meantime, I've requested the creation of a git repository at fd.o
under the 'standards' (#22482) group and plan to integrate current specs (some
stored in CVS) in a common place.

Then, we'll see.
