Write password to plymouth ask-for-password from SSH

I'm working on booting a headless server with a LUKS encrypted root
partition. The dracut crypto module uses plymouth's ask-for-password
command to get the LUKS password, but since it's headless, I can't
type it in. I've got dropbear running so I can SSH into the server at
the point where it's asking for the password: is there anyway to use
this SSH connection to write the password to the ask-for-password?
