improve PRIMARY buffer copy-paste behaviour, paste over

Dear XDG community,

It breaks the workflow of XDG: to update documents only by the original
author who has write access to the Git repo.

I would love to see a more useful PRIMARY buffer copy-paste behavior, so
please do not give up just because of XDG.
