An opportunity to help?

I sent an e-mail to the list a couple of days ago, but I recieved no
response.
Is the Xorg team looking for additional developers? I'd like to help if I
can. But if most projects at Xorg have the help they need I'll check out
some other projects.
Thanks,
Scott Huey

I would like to offer my assistance with the development of Xorg.
I am fairly new to Linux, but I have experience programming in Java
and LISP. I am currently learning C, C++, Assembly Language
Programming and digital electronics. I would like to learn more about
graphics programming on Linux.
I would like to work in an area that will allow me to gain some
experience with lower level programming. Is there a need in any of
these areas? Perhaps porting Xorg to new platforms or supporting
new hardware types?
Is there someone that can take me under there wing and give me some
direction?
I look forward to joining the Xorg development team!
Scott Huey
P.S. - I'm currently running Debian Sarge on a Pentium 3 machine.
