build Xorg with read-only source tree

I'm currently porting x11 to my own buildsystem (*1) - there you
can put the working directory virtually anywhere. So it's also 
possible to run a dozen of different builds from the same sourcetree
in parallel.

BTW: it builds much, much faster, since it does not have to create
and run such gigantic scripts as autotools do.
