Building Modular: Floating point exception when running makekeys

Hi,
I'm trying to build from CVS on Ubuntu Dapper Drake to test the video BIOS
problem affecting dualhead. I have followed the instructions on building from
CVS using the build script at the developers' Wiki.
Unfortunately, the build is terminating with the following error text:
> gcc -g -O2 -o makekeys makekeys-makekeys.o -ldl
> make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/ash/xorg-cvs/src/lib/X11/src/util'
> ../src/util/makekeys < /home/ash/xorg-cvs/modular/include/X11/keysymdef.h >
ks_tables_h
> /bin/sh: line 1: 9139 Floating point exception../src/util/makekeys
</home/ash/xorg-cvs/modular/include/X11/keysymdef.h >ks_tables_h
> make[1]: *** [ks_tables.h] Error 136
> make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/ash/xorg-cvs/src/lib/X11/src'
> make: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
I believe I've satisfied all of the dependencies from the Ubuntu repos, and my
currently installed versions are as follows:
Package: gcc State: installed Version: 4:4.0.3-1
Package: libc6 State: installed Version: 2.3.6-0ubuntu20
Package: g++ State: installed Version: 4:4.0.3-1
Package: pkg-config State: installed Version: 0.20-1
Package: expat State: installed Version: 1.95.8-3
Package: libttf2 State: installed Version:
1.4pre.20030402-1.1ubuntu1
Package: fontconfig State: installed Version: 2.3.2-1.1ubuntu12
Package: libpng12-0 State: installed Version: 1.2.8rel-5
Package: libdrm2 State: installed Version: 2.0-0ubuntu1
Package: zlib1g State: installed Version: 1:1.2.3-6ubuntu4
I've Googled and can't find anything that looks pertinent to this situation.
Can anybody help with determining what is causing makekeys to fail (I'm
assuming an unmet dependency, but apparently I've satisfied all of them).
Thanks in advance.
Cheers
Ashley
