is xkbdata needed to have xf86Keymap.h?

I had the same error.

The build of xserver git also failed with lots of undefined dbus_* symbols. 
This is with DBUS 0.94 from Debian sid and DBUS CVS from fd.o. Is this 
related to the DMX borkage as well?
