So you are using the latest available code from the git repos? I suppose
that rules out the possibility of a bad snapshot from Ross.

Oh yes. Anything we should know about X and glibc? I have 2.5 on my
system for some reason (and some packages dependent on it so downgrading
isn't a practical option). I doubt it has anything to do with this crash
(glibc is by it's nature involved in most crashes) but it's one thing to
rule out.
