Interesting. So the DVI -> S-Video adapter actually shows up on the
integrated tv-out port, rather than SDVO for example. We'd been
speculating about how those would work.
Have you tried using xrandr (remotely, obviously :)) to switch the modes
offered on the TV-out to see if any of them display anything for you?
Looks like we need to go buy one and get it working with our mini.
