Logging out of KDE cause X limbo

Not sure if this is a KDE bug, or X related.  Before upgrading to the
latest RC's I wasn't seeing this so I suppose it is X.

When I log out of KDE, the X server appears to try and restart, then I
just get a blank screen.  I have to go to a virtual terminal and kill
both kdm and X.  After that, if I restart kdm, X starts again.

Willing to file a bug or post logs, whatever, if anyone is interested.
