Perl shouldn't be needed any longer if all my patches for that have been
merged. For the packages in pkgsrc, the external dependencies are:
- Mesa
- expat
- freetype2
- gmake
- pkg-config

Maybe even libtool and gettext, but those shouldn't be required.
