No? But the matter is being discussed on this list. And we want to make
ourselves heard. I am a computer scientist, and can follow this technical
argumentation. I however do not have the time to develop X.org by myself, so
I rely on others like you or Aaron to do that for me. So I think it is only
fair for educated users to give their opinion. If you listen to it or not is
another matter. If not, maybe some of us will also pick up to become X.org
developers and change it to the way we like it. Who knows.
