Independent Multimonitor Mode in X11R7.3

Hi Jason,
Kindly give us the command for zaphod mode.
Is it achieved using xrandr......?

Independent screen mode (aka zaphod mode) is not supported in "intel"
driver. I've also asked this question before, but haven't gotten any
answers. I think developers of "intel" driver don't have any plan about
it. Or very low priority..
The latest ATI driver(6.8.0), however, supports zaphod mode again. It
was broken before 6.8.0, and reimplemented back since then.
If "i810" driver supports your video card, then use it for the zaphod
mode. It is dead now and 1.7.4 was the last version.
