I forgot to mention.

1. The ASUS EeePC 701 4G has an Intel 910 GML Express chipset.
2. The monitor is working on my desktop PC with the openchrome driver.

Any ideas or hints where I could look? Do those

        (EE) intel(0): underrun on pipe A!

have to do with this?
