I haven't.

Same laptop (mine's a 6466-55G), same graphics card, almost-same OS (I
use Ubuntu 8.10, xserver-xorg-video-intel 2:2.4.1-1ubuntu10.3).
I use dualhead occasionally (internal 1280x800 + external 1280x1024
usually, sometimes the external is a 1920x1080 TV).
I often have problems with Compiz not updating parts of the screen, but
nothing like your screenshot.
Sometimes when Compiz crashes after an xrandr mode switch and the X
server restarts I get weird blueish artefacts around my text characters.
Restarting X again fixes that.

An NT server can be run by an idiot, and usually is.
