Was the original price of the old 42 not considerably more than the price of 
the new? New technology comes at higher relative cost than after it's been 
around awhile, after more time has been spent determining how much cheaper 
components can be made before product returns start climbing above whatever 
tolerable levels have been determined by the bean counters.
