local tests are still looking ok.
Would anyone like to take a copy of my script (done in kix) for Windows
and convert it to
something that you release folks can run in unix over there ?
My script won't run against a file downloaded from OCAL - it appears as
though the release
process removes all CR and LF characters, and the formatting is all
gone.
probably not much point in developing a windows script to work on file
DL from the OCAL eh ?

My own try: opened the file in a text editor (gedit) and deleted
*everything* from <i:pgf id="adobe_illustrator_pgf"> to </i:pgf> Now the
file is only about 33 kB and open just fine both in Inkscape and eog

the removal of this junk delimited by the <i> and </i> tags should be
easily scriptable
