[Clipart] nearest authors

Why not have people themselves choose to fill it out if they want to?
These things should usually be "opt in" so as not to
annoy/inconvenience users, I understand. Or at the very least have a
way to opt out...

You know, people could just give (entered manually or chosen from
list?) their city, state/province, and country, if they choose -- or
maybe just ZIP/postal code and country, I don't know (never done this
type of thing). And the software goes from there.
