[Clipart] what is underscore_cleanup and is there a roadmap or having tags added in metadata for .png or/and svg files ?

Hi there,
I saw this in the downloads directory :-

This is available via going through https://openclipart.org/downloads/

Can somebody share what underscore_cleanup is going to be all about ?
I tried to see the the mailing list archives but was empty.

Another thing, is there anything on the roadmap to add tags or
something so people can easily identify without trawling the entire
collection (AFAI remember it was made author-based instead of
category-based.)

So from this it's clear the image uses exiftool but it doesn't do in a
way which would be helpful who has a large collection. I do see that
the site images have tags but couldn't there be a way where those tags
get inserted into the images somehow, either as a field called tags
and having multiple tags or something like that ?
