It happens at random.
Choose M17N-zh-py and type "nihaoma" => choose scim-anthy and type "konnichiha" =>
choose M17N-zh-py and type "nihaoma" => choose M17N-ja-anthy and type "konnichiha" =>
choose scim-anthy and type "konnichiha" => ...

I'm using pekwm. Also I tested it on KDE-3.3.2 but still it freezes.
