xorg, Intel 915GM Driver (i810_drv.o) and dri => No screens found

Which brings me to the question if the patches from Alan's driver will 
make it into the official driver? I am also very dependant on Alan's 
driver at the moment, for several Dell/Samsung X1 incompatibilities.
