Sun made a modification to MAX_CLIENTS, up'd it to 1024. There are problems
with the protocol, we had to shave some bits off a few masks to get space.
Not lovely code, but it does work. I don't thinks its currently public
code, but if there is demand, I suppose we could make it public.
