[SCIM] SCIM on kde does not work with firefox

Ok, i checked the compile options and firefox is compiled with
--enable-default-toolkit=gtk2
So im guessing it has something to do with the locale. But it works with
everything else which is very odd. Is using kde have any effect with the
.xinitrc file?
