[cairo] Problems with cairo_get_line_width and "new" semantics

I have a rough patch attached to that bug that should fix it...
I haven't gotten a chance to clean it up yet though.

Before I do that though I am trying to fix this issue:

I am getting:
cairo-surface.c:350: cairo_surface_destroy: Assertion `surface->ref_count > 0' failed.

when rendering http://people.freedesktop.org/~jrmuizel/2005_05_06.pdf.
