On the current site not only don't I use ban but avoid it at all  
costs.  It has a bug and causes problems.  As to the new version of  
ccHost, I understand it is fixed.  But I agree that it seems  
unnecessary as any file that is not appropriate - either by content or  
more likely that is is wrong format, spam, pranksters, etc - can just  
be deleted.  I've never seen anyone then repeated try to re-upload  
such a file again.
