[Fontconfig] fontconfig and xfonts?

This looks pretty much like http://bugs.debian.org/190244. I haven't got
time to investigate on that one yet, but maybe Keith will have an idea.
It turns out that fontconfig returns an incorrect size list for most
bitmap fonts.
