[Fontconfig] Turn off subpixel hinting

I am using Fluxbox, and I notice that there are colors around my fonts 
(subpixel hinting or something). How can I turn it off? In GNOME I just used 
the "Fonts"-GUI, but I'm not sure how to do it in fonts.conf...
