Yes, I attempted gettext support, and it didn't work too well.  Will give
it a try later, but in the meantime you can remove these mentions.

Nope, actually, for gettext, you end up with a Makefile.in.in as
well.  Kinda like Makefile.am, in a way.  But removable until we get
gettext working.
