Welcome aboard ! What prompted you to do this testing ? We have just
started going through all of the MPlayer samples as well, so a bunch of
issues are already fixed in latest CVS.

I'll take a good look at your table tomorrow.

We are in the process of working on the player and trying out some
alternative approaches as well. If you are running or are able to
install CVS version of gst-plugins, that would help us a lot at this
point since that's where we're fixing all those bugs now.

In CVS, there's also an example program in
gst-plugins/examples/seeking/seek.c. This example doesn't use the
current autoplugger, spider, but uses a different approach to decode and
play back files. It would be interesting to see the differences on such
a large number of test files, so you'd do us a great service checking it
out and trying.

The application is started using ./seek 11 file://(path to file)

Agreed, which is why we're working on it.

If you have any trouble or questions or whatever during your testing,
let us know. Also, our FAQ contains entries that you might find useful,
particularly the one explaining how to run a CVS version without messing
up your installed one.

Thanks

The best source IMO is the ones we have on our site; but freshrpms
should do as well, though they update slightly later.
