R: [gst-devel] Create a secure level

In many cases streaming players deny you to save the clip on your PC. But if you use a video recorder (for example Camtasia) you can record the clip anyway. Is it possibile avoid this copy? Is it possible apply an access policy for video memory? You need to change the kernel? If Gstreamer became a new framework for all Linux players, it'll be possible for it to manage with these access policies between all players based on it.
Thanks,
Domenico

Hi,

I'm not sure what you're asking, can you be more specific ? A pipeline
in an application is not easily accessible from another application.
