matroska subtitle

Hi Jan,

Thanks for your reply. 

I have two questions:
1. If I want to send just text strings as subtitles along with video stream,
how do I achieve it? 
2. If I have to mux it with matroska I understand it knows only kate
streams. I am using this in Windows environment, so how can I install kate
parser plugins for the same?

I greatly appreciate any help.
