how to send requests to rtsp server

Hi all,
  I am new here, so did not know much about gstreamer.
  My android APP can play the stream from server now.  Then, I want to send
pause/play/seek commands to control server. 
  Howerver, because of using gst_parse_launch("playbin", &error), i do not
know how to get rtpbin element(is that right?) and how to configure
properties, and how to send commands finally.
  I hope you can understand my description.
