Mute microphone

Hi,

I have the following sending pipeline:

osxaudiosrc->audioconvert->audioresample->alawenc->rtppcmapay->queue->udpsink

Is it possible to mute the osxaudiosrc? I've tried to use the volume plugin
between osxaudiosrc->volume->audioconvert but with no success.
