HAL is not perfect, I think everyone agrees on that. But folks like 
Matthew, Danny, David and many many downstream distro people (too many 
to make a list) are working with what is currently available to improve 
the hw situation.

Unless you have something constructive to put forward (ie. patches) 
please stop trolling.
