[Libdlo] Partial success with OpenWRT Asus WL-500W

I did a lot of messing around building OpenWRT kamikaze (the svn trunk)
against kernel 2.6.30 for my Asus WL-500W router. I was able to get the
displaylink greenscreen to activate on bootup but wasn't able to make a
functional console.

Some people on irc suggested that I needed a slugterm

I never made it yet. I find OpenWRT kamikaze's buildroot system to be
extremely frustrating, unstable, and very difficult to modify, and I am
a longtime Gentoo user, so take my report in lieu of my abilities.

I was pretty close but something happened to the OpenWRT svn trunk and
afterwards none of my firmware images would boot anymore. So I am
backing off for a bit and working on other projects. I'm sick of
rebuilding OpenWRT and I'm not pleased with their hacked buildroot
system in case you didn't grab that from paragraph 3.

However, keep up the good works. What I would like to see most is a new
xf86-driver-displaylink that plays nice with RandR. That is most
needful since the kernel module seems to be stabilizing well. Please
keep up the work to get the driver out of Staging and into the mainline
kernel.

Regards,
Doug
