[Libdlo] Testing a Displaylink adapter. Works with custom driver, but not with standard "fbdev" ?

Like I said last post, I already checked my logs and the options are
set.

If I set the "displaylink" driver, then "cat 'anything' > /dev/fb0"
changes the output, like you'd expect.

If I use the standard "fbdev" driver then nothing changes on the screen
of I try the same thing.  It's black and stays black.
