Looks like mailmain modifies that URL when building up the email
archives, so I'll try to suggest the https:// URL of the repository
from now on, not the git URL, i.e.:

$ git clone --depth 1 --branch 1.2.0
https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/mobile-broadband/libqrtr-glib.git

>      $ $ git tag --verify 1.2.0
