FWIW, here are the features I think are necessary:

- Streaming (definitely, there should be no question here).
- Edited, uploaded and available for diffusion as soon as possible.

If the edit/upload for a talk can be done **as soon as the talk is
finished** (i.e. live edit and upload starts immediately at end of
talk), this is ideal. This is what does C3VOC, and the live edit really
is perfect for a talk recording (just look at the example I gave earlier
or the many other talk videos on confs they contributed to).

Granted, I have rarely (never?) seen such efficiency in any other
conference, which is why I am impressed by C3VOC. And from another team,
edit/upload within a week for instance would be totally acceptable. Big
max should be a month. Later, it's too late. Any hype from a conf is
already lost and spreading a talk from old conf is always falling flat.

As for how many hours, I don't know. It all depends on how many talk
will run in 4 days. As A.l.e (Rimoldi) was noting though, we may want to
emphasize more team meetings too, therefore not have too many packed
talks this year. But the number of hours should nearly not come into
account for the process of edit/upload. As C3VOC proved it to be
possible, it can all be done live, hence the length matters much less
anyway.
