[LGM] finances

Hi Frank,

Do we have a contact a SPI? To whom was the letter sent?

Neil from GNOME is asking because he was on SPI board for a while and
mentions that the process could be made quicker. He mentions this also
because he discovered he mistakenly said GNOME could help hosting the money
for a short while but apparently things are not that simple at their end.

So, we’re back to SPI.

Their next board meeting is Dec. 11. We should enter the process before
that date and make sure we have someone taking care of us at their end.

If we feel we need a vote (I would think so for that kind of matter, if
only to make it clear that the community is supporting the idea), then I
think we should organise it without delay.

We’ll go through this only once and one big issue will be solved for a long
time for LGM.

That’s my thoughts!

Cheers!

Louis
