Native packages on Debian are .deb, why to use .rpm?

Debian 10 Buster is the last stable Debian
(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Debian_version_history) but as I indicated in a
previous comment, stable is more for servers not for desktop.
That's why I'd recommend you to install Debian testing.

I think you should read a bit about Debian concerning packages (including
packages format), repositories and apt.
