I just wrote that: In the comments and on the users list for the given
scenarios -- I dont think there is a relevant way to discuss a bug outside the
mentioned scenarios.

For ad-hoc inquiries as in "has anyone had a chance to have a look at this bug"
I kinda agree, the ML is not the best place for that -- it just does not scale.
I would suggest to coordinate such things on IRC (lurk moar! ;) ) and if there is no
reply there fall back to bugzilla comments.
