A toggle would be silly, the last thing we need right now is a Cambrian
explosion of UI options. I would close this as a duplicate of bug 161709.

On Friday commit 3b4a8406c2e7f4f6a7ac43e192fdb8ef266d4b6d was made. It makes
the indicator hug the cell borders. You can see how it looks like by running a
daily build, Win-x86_64 at tb77-TDF on Windows from
https://dev-builds.libreoffice.org/daily/master/current.html
