Even if we were to keep those drivers in mesa, they would not receive
further features or probably even bug fixes.  They're only likely to
break as we update the interface between core mesa and the dri drivers
and only compile test those changes.  In other words, they're as good
as they will ever be in the mesa 7.11 release.
