[Mesa-users] Mesa support for geometry shaders on Win32 (or alternatively, Linux)

Hi,

I downloaded Mesa-7.8.2 and built it on Windows using VC++2008.
I built and ran a few samples, like the mandelbrot fragment/vertex shader
sample, and they run fine.

Out of the box the Windows build / VC++ project / GDI driver don't seem to
include any kind of support for geometry shaders though, do they?

Is it possible to build Mesa for Win32 so that geometry shaders are
supported?

If the answer is no here, will a Linux build (using the Softpipe driver, as
I'm only interested in software-only support) provide support for geometry
shaders?

Thanks for your help,

Fred
