Hi!
This patch never got committed because it breaks OpenGL conformance,
which requires all mipmap levels to be present all the way down to 1x1.
IIRC the unichromes only have 9 hw mipmap levels.
In many cases the patch would be very useful, however, and at the time,
the people involved agreed that the best thing to do would be to have an
option in driconf to either enable or disable the default behaviour
depending on what was choosen to be the default behaviour. Nobody cared
to write the configuration code, though.
