You want a range in there.... Otherwise if your monitor is giving out
DDC info you probably don't need anything there at all.

For the card-id error, can you give details of the make and model of 
your machine, and whether it has TV-Out or is a laptop with LCD panel.

As for the blank screen... is anything else logged?
