[Openchrome-users] not using custom modeline

I am using a Via EX10000 with a CX700 with the openchrome experimental
branch. I am connecting to a Samsung 204B LCD monitor using the DVI port.
There seems to be a known hardware problem with this monitor where it
flickers on and off when you use it at 1600x1200 at the default 60hz
frequency. I tried getting a replacement, but it did the same thing. Some
people have had to go through 2 or 3 replacements to get a working monitor.
There is another kludgy workaround for this problem, which is to reduce the
frequency to anywhere between 55 or 56 mhz. In any case, I was trying to
utilize this workaround by creating a new mode in the monitor section called
"MyMode1", and then using that mode in the Screen section.

When I do this, I get an error in Xorg.0.log that "Not using "MyMode1" (no
mode of this name) ". I can rename my mode to 1600x1200, but then I get the
sneaky suspicion that it really isn't using that modeline, since it doesn't
actually solve my problem, that's why I was trying to use a very
non-specific name.

I'm sure I'm missing something blindingly obvious here.... Attached are my
xorg.conf and Xorg.0.log.

Thanks,

David
