It is certainly reasonable to note the filename in the description
tag by default, however I suspect that declaring a profile that has
a description that doesn't match the filename as faulty will disqualify
almost all existing and future real world profiles.

Personally I hate files that have spaces in their names (hard
to deal with on the command line), and also find filenames
that are very long difficult to deal with, since many dialogues
truncate such names, making them very difficult to distinguish.
